North’s Managing Director & CEO Carl Dilena supports a trial of a twilight Grand Final.

The AFL commission’s is set to consider the idea, supported by many clubs, with a decision expected before Round 1.

The club could hold its traditional Mazda Grand Final Breakfast as a brunch, should the change be made.

“We don’t have a formal position as a club but I have ¬always been quite open to the concept personally,’’ Dilena told The Herald Sun.

“There is the traditional ¬aspect which gets brought up but the spectacle of it could be something worth trialling.”

Dilena joins Geelong’s Brian Cook and Colin Carter, Carlton’s Stephen Trigg, Collingwood’s Eddie McGuire, Port Adelaide’s David Koch and Sydney’s Andrew Pridham in support of the concept.
